Tiger Tales Newsletter - June 4, 2026

Dear Hammond Elementary School Families,

Wow! We can hardly believe that the end of the school year has arrived and we are sharing our LAST Tiger Tales newsletter for the school year.  As we reflect on this year, we are filled with pride and gratitude for our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families.

This year, our students have grown in so many ways. We have watched them make tremendous academic progress, develop new skills, build meaningful friendships, and demonstrate resilience, kindness, and perseverance.

We are grateful for the partnership we share with our families and for the many ways you support your children and our school community. Together, we have created a positive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive.

As we close out another successful school year, we wish all of our Hammond Tigers and their families a wonderful, relaxing, and safe summer. We hope your days are filled with fun and time with loved ones!

Thank you for a fantastic year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another exciting year of learning and growth!  You can expect to see a mid-summer Tiger Tales newsletter sometime in July!  Until then…

With appreciation,

Heather Moraff, Principal

Nykia Mapson, Assistant Principal
