Friday, August 22 Back-to-School Open House
10:00-11:00am Kindergarten Open House Do not bring other students at this time. Other grades' classrooms will not be open until later in the afternoon, nor will teachers in grades 1-5 be available.
1:00-1:45pm New Student Orientation Grades 1-5 - These are students who are attending HES for the first time.
1:45-2:30pm (Last Name A-M & New Families) Open House for Returning Students Grades 1-5
2:30-3:15pm (Last Name N-Z) Open House for Returning Students Grades 1-5
1:45-3:00pm Special Education Team Meet & Greet (This event is only for any families who have a student with special education services. Come meet your child's team!)
Please respect allotted times to allow for less crowding and to alleviate parking issues
Back-to-School Night for parents
Tuesday, August 19: Back-to-School Night for parents. K & 1st grades: 6:00 - 6:45 p.m.
2nd & 3rd grades: 7:00 - 7:45 p.m
Wednesday, August 20 Back-to-School Night for parents. Grades 4, 5 and Gifted & Talented
Gifted and Talented Programs (CEUs, Seminars, etc.) 6:00-6:30 pm
Gifted and Talented Math (4th & 5th grade) 6:30-7:00 pm
4th Grade & 5th grades 7:00-7:45 pm
**** Children are not preferred at parent Back-to-School Nights as the programs are geared for adults. If you cannot attend as you do not have alternative childcare, please bring your child. It is more important you attend this informational evening.
